Pushkar Cocktail Bar and Dining
Good afternoon spotters, today we bring you Pushkar, a stylish restaurant located on Birmingham’s funky broad street. Although on a busy street, once inside you escape the noise and crowds and enter tranquillity. The restaurant does get quite busy but the informed and welcoming staff manage very well, service is slick and efficient and nothing is too much trouble. When seated, Poppadoms and fresh flavoursome sauces are brought to your table while you read through the extensive menu. Dishes include the classics like Lamb Kebab, Korma and Aloo Gobi ( cauliflower and potatoes with ginger, onion and tomato).
They also serve ‘not so everyday’ options like Spinach and Prune cakes, Grilled Scallop Haryali (pan grilled scallops with fresh herbs and coconut sauce) and even duck Masala (pot roasted duck, with onion, ginger and black peppers, cooked in its own fat). As Pushkar is also a cocktail bar, you can choose to enjoy a signature cocktail pre/post meal (we recommend the red emerald), sacred juice or a Lassi, all hand crafted to perfection.
With modern, neutral and calming decor Pushkar is the perfect place for an intimate dinner, ‘date night’ or perhaps a celebration lunch. Large groups can also be accommodated. Head down and see for yourselves.
